Wireless 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi smart doorbell has Ethernet/RJ45 network port

Are you looking for a smart doorbell has a wired Ethernet port? Here we recommend you the Yoosee SD-M5, which is a 1080p resolution wireless smart doorbell that comes with a 10/100Mbps peripheral interface. In addition to supporting Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz) communication, it offers reliable and unlimited distance wired network connection. This helps you to install the product in a place where Wi-Fi is not available or the connection is unstable. We know there is no product can fit everyone’s requirements perfectly. Undoubtedly Wi-Fi + Ethernet provides you a great flexibility on installing and using this product. Though it only supports 2.4G band, it’s able to work with your Dual-band (5GHz + 2.4GHz) routers.

Ethernet port with Power over Ethernet technology

Wired network capability offers more stable and faster network connection comparing with wireless (as we know, wireless is prone to signal interference). In addition, only wired network can support Power over Ethernet technology. The PoE can greatly simplify the installation of the product by eliminating the power wiring and trenching. A smart doorbell features PoE, it can instantly work by merely plugging the Ethernet cable, one cable can transmit both power and network data.

Unlike other smart doorbell products in market, our product supports 24 hours video surveillance, it has a microSD/TF memory card built-in to support max. 256GB video storage space. Offering 24 hours, schedule, motion detection (manual, schedule detection) flexible video recording options. Most importantly, it complies RTSP and ONVIF protocol, can be integrated into your new or existing IP video surveillance system. It works with NVRs and NAS from other brands.

AC/DC8V - 36V Power Input

Yoosee SD-M5 is designed by experienced manufacturer specializes in developing professional video intercom systems. Contrary to those smart doorbells either use DC5V or DC12V power input, our smart doorbell adopts wide voltage input design, it works with different power sources from AC/DC power adapter to 24V AC transformer. This helps the product to fit different applications. For instance, it can directly wire to 24V AC transformer, so that users can easily upgrade the traditional wired door chime system. (it should be noted that the product comes with a AC/DC power adapter, output voltage is standard DC12V.)

Why it doesn’t support 5G?

Apparently many users want to buy a wireless product supporting 5G. Because the 5G can provider faster network speed and 5G products unlikely experience network congestion comparing with 2.4G. This is totally true to your computer and media devices because network speed is probably one of important factors determine the user experience. Unlike computers and media devices, security cameras and smart doorbell actually require nearly 2Mbps speed, which can meet adequately in 2.4G band.

Though 2.4G band has no advantages on speed, it actually has better performance on transmission range. For instance, 5G Wi-Fi signal will become weak significantly after penetrates one or two brick/concrete walls, but 2.4G wifi signal still can be full. In such case, the security camera or smart doorbell may not work properly if using 5G Wi-Fi technology. In a nutshell, 5G on today's security applications doesn't boost the product's performance comparing with 2.4G, this explains why 2.4G is prevalent on security cameras and smart doorbells in market.
