HK-TY-C5 is a new generation security camera that adopts ultra low power consumption hardware design. It’s a battery camera that offers complete wire-free solution. The camera adopts IP66 waterproof design can be suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. It utilizes a 2-megapixel camera module that delivers crystal clear 1080p FHD video with true color reproduction.
How it works?
Comparing to traditional security camera, it has a battery carriage that can be filled with 3 pieces rechargeable battery. Since it consumes a tiny of power when it works, the battery can support its operation up to 150 days (standy mode). Additionally it comes with a solar panel which can charge the battery during the day time.
Benefits of using 18650 rechargeable battery
The camera mainly relies on power from the internal 18650 batteries. Though the battery cycle life reaches 1000 times (this data differs from various manufacturers), we still think there are some cases that users want to replace the internal battery. By utilizing this type of battery, users can replace them easily without any training and no need to use any tools. You also can upgrade the battery by selecting high capacity one from various brand. Lastly, the 18650 can provide reliable performance under hot temperature environment which is much better than traditional Lithium-ion battery packs.
